The American Chamber Chorale is comprised of people from diverse backgrounds, united by a love of great music. From music educators to computer programmers, retired CEO’s to homemakers, the members of the Chorale are dedicated to sharing performances of art music that provide pause and opportunity for enrichment of the human spirit because we believe it is important to our audiences and to us, especially in this age.

In the words of our Artistic Director, Stephen Morton, “In a world teeming with forces which divide, choral singing encourages, expresses, and exemplifies a true sense of community."

The mission of the American Chamber Chorale is to "present the latest works by today's most significant composers while honoring the foundation of modern music by performing music of the masters from the past." The American Chamber Chorale's goal to increase live performances of art music composed recently by 20th and 21st century composers is unique in the St. Louis area and brings a new dimension to the music scene.
